“I believe all humans are naturally born artists, though not all pursue it. For those whose hearts belong to the arts, I am committed to protecting them. I’m on a path to advocate for the wellbeing of performers and stagehands alike. Though I know it will be a lengthy journey, this scholarship has given me hope that with commitment, there will be a way for the performance arts industry to one day evolve their health-consciousness and give up their ‘show must go on’ mentality.
